California Palomas Delivery & Pick-Up Services

For most California residents, we offer blanket-wrapped, white glove service.  This delivery service includes assembly of furniture.  Palomas is not licensed to install wall art or lighting.

We offer FREE DELIVERY to residents located in Carmel, Carmel Valley, Marina, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach, Spreckels, Salinas and Seasidefor our larger home furnishings and decor.

Smaller pieces that are eligible for UPS, can either be shipped can be picked up at Palomas in Carmel at your leisure.

Palomas White Glove Delivery – Most California Residents

Palomas delivery includes 2-man delivery in most cases.  If your circumstance requires more than 2 people, we will let you know.  Your estimated delivery date will be provided at the time your order is confirmed. You will receive a call the week of your delivery to confirm the day and time.  We ask that you ensure the furniture items purchased will fit through all doorways, up stairwells, down halls, and around corners into the desired location.

Please notify us of any special requirements to complete your delivery. This includes small trucks to navigate narrow roads and driveways, restricted delivery time frames, proof of insurance for high rise and condominium buildings and service elevator reservations.

Retail Store Pick-Up Policy

  • Customer pick-up hours of operation: 10am to 5pm every day.
  • Same day pick-up may be available, please call ahead to confirm.
  • Please call one hour ahead at 831-624-6120 to ensure your items will be ready when you arrive.

Warehouse Pick-Up Policy – By Appointment Only

  • Customer pick-up hours of operation: 7am to 12pm Monday-Friday.
  • All pick-ups at the warehouse need to be scheduled in advance.

Pick-Up at Palomas

Please contact us one week prior for all pick-ups.

Store at Palomas Warehouse

At no additional charge, we can store your purchase in our warehouse until you are ready.  When you are ready, call us at 831-624-6120 at least one week prior.

Please note that both UPS and Freight estimated delivery timeframe will still apply.

UPS Ground

For our smaller items eligible for UPS, we offer ground shipping.  Expedited shipping is available.  Please let us know when we call to confirm your purchase.

We use freight and delivery service for larger items we are unable to ship through UPS.

Freight Shipping

Estimated curbside freight prices quoted on our website are for shipments located within 40 miles of the Lynden International Hubs.  If you are located outside 40 miles of the following Hubs, you will be charged an additional $1.00/mile in most cases.  You will receive a phone call from us prior to processing your payment.

White glove freight shipping is also available.  Please let us know when we call to confirm your purchase.

Deliveries made by our freight company are often performed with 50ft freight trucks so roads and driveways can sometimes be an issue.  Customers MUST inform us of any circumstances that would prohibit delivery via this method. Additional fees incurred due to lack of information from our customers will be the responsibility of the customer.

Curbside Services

Curbside service includes delivery to your driveway. It is the responsibility of the receiver/customer to assess the condition of the crate before the delivery driver leaves.

White Glove Services

Lynden International's white glove service includes delivery, unpackaging of the items in the crate, placement of the items in your home and removal of the packaging materials.  White glove service does not include installation or assembly.

Reporting Damage

While we make every effort to ensure that your purchase arrives to you in one piece, things can happen that may be out of our control.  Please know that we will exceed your expectations and do our best to take care of the situation.

Should you notice damage to the contents of the crate after unpackaging, please take pictures of the packaging and the contents that are damaged.  All damages need to be reported to Palomas Home Furnishings within five (5) business days to file a claim.  Please call us at (831) 624-6120 and email pictures showing the damage to palomas@palomascarmel.com.

If you do not report damages of your shipment within five (5) business days, we are unable to process a claim for replacement.  While Palomas Home Furnishings will not be held responsible to replace the unreported and damaged item, we will do our best to help.  Please note that it may be the customers financial responsibility to return damaged items to Palomas Home Furnishings if not reported within five (5) business days.  You may contact us at (831) 624-6120 to discuss.
